How did you get into nutrition?
In high school I read the textbook cover-to-cover and decided that was what I wanted to study and apply to help myself and others.
How would you describe your counseling style?
Client-led, conversational and flexible. My clients usually expect me to tell them what to do and have a step-by-step protocol of food rules to follow. However instead, I ask what they currently do, what they have tried and through discussion and refection and a few suggestions, we work toward a better way.
