How did you get into nutrition?
USA Swimming held a clinic with my club team when I was in eighth grade which included a nutrition class. I was a very coachable athlete but I had never considered how my nutrition would impact my performance. Since then, I knew I wanted to educate other athletes and community members on the importance of nutrition and improve food environments.
How would you describe your counseling style?
I meet each client where they are at. Talking with a dietitian or health professional can be intimidating but I’m here to calm your doubts, listen to your needs, and together create a feasible plan to reach your goals today and twenty years from now.
